Why did I want to become team rider for takoon ?
I saw this as a great opportunity to be able to ride for a big brand in the industry and also be part of a team.  Being able to help promote the brand in the uk was one of the main reasons as I am very passionate about the sport and saw this as a good way to get more involved with the sport and industry.

How long have I been kitesurfing ?
Ive been kitesurfing for 1 year and 8 months,  In that time I have put many hours in, on the water. Mainly due to being a student so I had a lot of spare time ;-)

What kit have I use in the past ?
Well, I started with a two line airush trainer kite with a scrub landboard. Then from there I bought a Gaastra 12m 2004 c kite, which I was going to use for landboarding until I saw videos of kitesurfing on youtube. I soon replaced the gaastra with an ozone instinct which helped me a lot with my first board starts. Then I moved onto a quiver of flexifoil atom 08's and a flexifoil hooligan pro board.

What gear am I using now ?
Im using the takoon furias in 11m and 7m and the takoon lux 133. I'm also hoping to have a takoon Burning in the next few weeks.

Where do I ride ?
My local beach is Crimdon, which is a couple of minutes drive from my house however my main spot is called 'the chem works' at seaton carew. I also kite at redcar as there is a nice lagoon that works on a westerly. This year I am going to be traveling more as I want to explore what other uk beaches have to offer.
